Ribbon Playbox

The Ribbon Playbox was based on Nadine El-Gazzar’s Spatial Weaving Playbox design. The ribbon playbox was envisioned to be an artistic and engaging activity for children. Through making the piece, we discovered that weaving the ribbons was a fun, inspiring, and therapeutic activity for adults as well.

For this iteration of the design, shop116 was asked to incorporate magnets for attaching the ribbon and vertical stainless steel rods.
