Fix Coffee + Bikes gallery and seating
Fix Coffee + Bikes (FC+B) is a space combining a coffee bar and bike shop/gallery, as its name suggests. shop116 collaborated with FC+B’s designer, Stanislav Jurkovic (oo design co), to fabricate the coffee shop table tops and trays which were custom designed for the space. All the pieces were made of laminated Baltic birch plywood. shop116 achieved the translucent white finish by using wood bleach and white stain, which was important for the design of the space, while maintaining durable finishes required for commercial use by sealing the pieces with a durable clear-coat finish.
